Holy cow I can't believe this forum's still here! I looked the site up on a whim and I've just spent the past 20 minutes going through my old post history, I am currently in some sort of state of retro-shock. If anyone still checks this site, how is everyone/everything? And can I also be the first to apologise (to anyone that remembers me) for being possibly the single most obnoxious 13-year-old with access to a keyboard in history. Seriously, I was a douche. And while it's what, like 7 years too late, I am sorry for my various asshattery as a child. I'm all grown up and beardy now and thankfully I've grown out of being a keyboard warrior, hahah. So if anyone still goes here that remembers me, hi! Please don't burn me at the stake. And to anyone that doesn't, for the love of god avoid old threads from 2006-2008. I ruin ALL OF THEM. Also if anyone that I used to talk to is interested in catching up with their forum's old resident troll, get in touch! I'd actually love to talk to some of you guys again. Needless to say, they're very vague, but waking up at 6PM and logging straight into skype/maple story is something I do remember. Deathclaw? Revenge? I remember we used to make comics with sprites in mspaint. How we ever found that enjoyable, I don't know. I can't think of anything more tedious but by god, we lived for that KIPPERS back int' day. I wasn't gonna re-reg but I was so inspired by this Sho thread and particularly this post (is this Kage?). Too evocative of a young life squandered on Maplestory, Sega Genesis emulators, sprite comics, and harassing Sonic-obsessed shut-ins while turning into something arguably worse. Thank BLARGH I kicked the habit before high school. Anyone from back in the day, particularly Sho/Kage/Nick (whatever your screenname was) who wants to connect hit me up here. We all sort of BLARGHed up each other's lives but it'd be fun to reconnect/make amends. Seriously, need to hear from you kids and compare notes on life/our twenties. Shout out to anyone who played along or didn't take it too seriously. Sho really put it perfectly. Jah live. |
