We all know the drill. Having a load of grades can help, but it won't solely get one into university. I blagged enough personality into my personal statement to get an interview for Medicine at St George's. My own previous shortcomings and maybe my grades probably results in the rejection.
I was hoping for A* A A a this time around, and even small things can kick dirt into your face on results day. At least I still have a chance of going to University with ABBb. The guy was obviously gifted, he is, I assume, a person of my attitude last year. All or nothing, aim for the top and nothing less. It's a shame he didn't get into Oxford. Maybe he should learn an instrument next time.

I managed to get through this interview alright, so I should be going to uni this year, but i'm going to the exact same building i've been in for the past 2 years. Not looking forward to finding out how much the loan's gonna be though.

And with this letter I have received today, I am officially an A2 student, albeit one who has yet to enrol in any classes (which will apparently happen on Friday the 3rd. What an excellent day to bring us into college, timed perfectly so I have to pay an extra day's bus fare).

To get to my old college and my new uni (same building), which is the closest one to me, I have to catch a bus, get off that, and then get straight on a tram, and then, take a 5 minute walk up to the building, and go up 5 flights of stairs. ... ;D |
