Their excuse is that Flash is no longer necessary, as Youtube can be used directly and other Flash sites are, and I quote, "Painful to use". Right, because the only thing flash is EVER used for is youtube, right?

For £429 I'm not sure what the advantage is over an Ion netbook that could be had for ~£300 or less.

Remember that the iPad needs a real computer to activate it with iTunes before use.
So for the top end model in this country, you're paying £800 for a computer that can't even take a USB stick. Go you.

It wouldn't be so bad if every other company wasn't making their own version to cash in on what I'm sure will become a trend. Touchscreens on computers simply do not work as well as a keyboard and mouse.
