Interesting thread.... On the note of sweltering heat, it has been so hot that baby groundhogs and stray kittens have been dying on the streets of the apartment complex I work in. The smell is terrible and it has attracted at least 20 vultures, which tear the animals apart and leave bits of their flesh all over the place, making the smell considerably worse. It is also worth noting that I saw a child attempting to crawl into a car trunk today. Once I knew someone who's kid did just that in the same type of weather and was cooked alive. I cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Back to Baltimore (88F, 31C)
The northeast is supposed to be cooler than SMASHINGLY California. What's going on?
