Thing is, it actually has some grounding in the truth. Remember the various SV halloween cartoons? If I remember correctly, Bish made them in AnimeStudio or something.

Oh good, so at least a few people made it past the deliberately crappy forum post and the fake anime announcement to the third April Fool's gag, that being that the hoax submission page. It looks like DA, Darthfarmer and - of all people - Timberwolf caught on to that much. Congratulations. You were three-quarters of the way there. What you were meant to do next was, as I said in this very topic, get curious and try things. Namely, you were supposed to get curious about the out-of-place underlines and links I set up on the fake hoax submission page, and check the source. That source had a comment: <!-- Hah, so you're looking for a hidden link in the source, huh? Well, there's no real link tags anywhere in here, so all i can say to you is the word awhbble. php is fun to code sometimes. --> From there you were meant to go to awhbble.php in the same directory, which is where the real hoax submission form was kept. That's right. The April 1 newspost was true. Hoax submission actually is open. Enjoy it  |

Don't you think the 75KiB limit is a little small? I was gonna submit that retexture hoax I made:  And it turned out to be 169KiB. Does this mean we will be forced to use the devil of hoaxing technique and subject our hoaxes to the dithery mask of JPG? EDIT: F*ck, not even that. I saved it as JPEG and it was still 96KB. T_T EDIT2: GIF appears ok, but still. Eugh. GIF. |

75 KiB? I agree, that's not very much at all. Really only one of my hoaxes goes above that limit (and that's out of 250), though I must agree it's pretty small for 3D game hoaxes and boxarts. Question though, why the hell does the hoax submit page say it's in the reviews section? EDIT: GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! It's up to 175k. Should be enough for anyone who saves in PNG. |

Er, Matt, you messed up on your coding the 175 K limit in. If you do so, you get the error messages for all the other possibilities. To be precise, you get the following if you upload something more than 175 KB: Either that file was bigger than 175kb, or you're doing something you shouldn't. Either way, fix it. Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Filename cannot be empty in /home/sonicveg/public_html/hoaxes/hoaxinsert.php on line 75 That's not an image. Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Filename cannot be empty in /home/sonicveg/public_html/hoaxes/hoaxinsert.php on line 82 Isn't that awfully... small, for a supposed screenshot? Start again. Warning: unlink() [function.unlink]: No such file or directory in /home/sonicveg/public_html/hoaxes/hoaxinsert.php on line 144 Go back and try again. Your hoax should be where you left it. It's not really that big a problem, just something to look into. EDIT: Every single hoax I deem worthy of putting on the site is up. It took me forever, but they're all uploaded. Should help bulk up the hoax total a fair bit. |

Nice, hoaxes. I've just submitted 3 which I quickly made in about 10 minutes (each). I'd reupload all of my old hoaxes, but they're on my old computer and I really CBA booting it up. Besides, I don't have a monitor to see it all with. EDIT:  |
