I know this is probably a bit late, but they may have done the most time-wasting april fool's joke ever. They announced Metal Sonic, with the inclusion of Death Egg Zone, with a couple of Sonic CD songs, but this was available on PSN, and only available for a matter of hours, before it was removed.

Uh...it wasn't an April Fools' joke. They meant to only release Ryo in his Forklift that day, but accidentally put up Metal Sonic with the Death Egg for a while before they fixed their mistake. |
