Well, looks like they've got a bunch of Pokemon that seem to act as counterparts to Gen1 and Gen2 Pokemon there, keeping in touch with what they said about forcing you to start Pokemon as if it were a brand new game...
I see a fire monkey, a water monkey, and a grass monkey... will they make it evolve from an as-yet-unrevealed preevolution by:
A) the Eevee method of exposing them to the series' glowing green rocks
or
B) the Burmy method by changing type whenever you fight in a certain environment until it evolves and it's type becomes fixed?

Obviously fake (the guy wearing Ash's hat, for example, and the appearance of only first-gen mons), but I've been waiting for a dark Pokemon movie for a while- the series has great potential. I do not, however, want a live-action movie, and while I'm not too fussed about the guns I'd prefer if they weren't used so much (what's the point, when a single Pokemon could kill so many more people?), since it seems to be trying too hard to be DARK AND EDGY LOL
Also, this seems to be going the whole route of 'KIDS ARE CHOSEN TO GET POKEMON FROM ANOTHER WORLD LOL AND EVIL ORGANISATION IS AFTER THEM
If this was a real (fan) movie, I'd probably see it, but Nintendo wouldn't let their name be associated with it and the creators would get a cease-and-desist, like that Zelda fan film you can now only find on torrents.
Reminds me, I need to write up my idea for a Pokemon movie, it'd be awesome. It would never be made though *laughs*

Read the Manga if you want a slightly darker tone for Pokémon. Team Rocket f*cking DESTROYS Celadon, and Erika, Misty and Brock defend the place so that Red can battle Giovanni IIRC. It's been a while since I've read it. |

You can forget more 'dark tones' because Tabunne and Muuna really don't help. Well, it's not 100% dark, man. I mean, they make the Safari Zone a parody to Jurassic Park and the Jungle Cruise Ride. |
