Why do you have "Windows Vista Starter" on the bottom right of your screen?

Why do you have "Windows Vista Starter" on the bottom right of your screen? Well, thats the operating system i have on this PC, it came with it Basically, its Vista, but limited. You can only open 3 programs at the same time (but theres a glitch that cancels that), but its pretty normal, you just have that watermark.

Tab Mix Plus. Get it. Comes with closed tabs undoing and works with latest version of Firefox. Danke. Also, a quick question, what drove each one of you to select the theme you're using? I chose mine because it's minimalistic, yet good to the eye. Small, yet pretty. Just like my p... ...pen. The pen mom got me from the casino.

I originally started using personas simply out of curiosity. Firefox 3.6 comes with persona support built in (without the need for the addon, though the addon adds extra functionality), so of course it started thrusting persona adverts into my face everytime I saw the homepage. So I decided to have a look around. When I found the Lady Gaga persona I fell in love.
Then I just so happened to come across the other two addons I mentioned, which boasted how good it looked when using personas, so I tried them and fell in love with them as well.
Now que a whole night of fiddling with Tab Mix Plus (and other plugins) to try and get the best colour settings for this layout. I even ended up removing my All-In-One-Sidebar because it looked screwed up with personas.

So yesterday I accidentally upgraded Firefox to 3.5.7. I had been putting it off and while I was typing something the window for upgrading came up and whatever I was typing made it download. I couldn't see a 'cancel' button so I resigned to my fate. The real problem came when, after crashing twice and failing to actually install the update, I finally looked upon 3.5.7. It seemed pretty normal until I moved my mouse to part of the toolbar and it became a bright grey, causing the icons to become invisible. This is what it looked like last night (in fact, it looks exactly like this now. I guess I can live with it except for the fact that all the ninjaing scrollbars are invisible) What the hell is going on here, how do I fix it, and is there any way to downgrade?
oh and I forgot to mention that most of the time every single image on a webpage does not load
EDIT: I couldn't upload the image of what it looks like because the image on Imageshack for 'upload now' didn't load and no matter how much I clicked on the invisible text nothing happened
EDIT: I think the KIPPERS messing up was due to a theme I was using, I switched to default and it was fine but still no images. I upgraded to 3.6, but still nothing. I'm using Chrome now. It looks like that one Linux browser.

No idea, all I know is that I want to try Battlefield Heroes but no, EA had to be a bunch of dumbasses and use some stupid "load from the browser" system rather than the tried and true "download the SMASHINGLY game and install it yourself" method of game distribution, and of course they have yet to get the "load from browser" plugin to work with the latest version of Firefox.
I mean, come on, they forced me to download their download accelerator for Spore, why couldn't they have used that?

Is that the Linux Kernel? I have heard people call BASH shell the "kernel" so many times it makes me want to eat my own hands. It's the Links web browser running in the BASH shell in the X terminal, which is analogous to the command prompt on a Windows NT machine.
