Must only be effective in Australia, because it still comes up on my Google.
Also, Google may want to filter DeviantArt, Youtube, MySpace and Facebook while their at it as you can very easily find offensive stuff on those sites too (especially Youtube, where 13 year olds are free to debate homosexuality and gun laws).

Again, must only be on the Aussie version of Google because I can still find that specific article.
BTW, ED's article on England and British people isn't exactly flattering. Perhaps I should scream racist and get it banned from UK Google.

Fortunately, the United States DMCA has a clause in it that says a service provider is not responsible for user-generated content through their service.
It applies to copyright violations, granted, but it could still hold here.
