We're getting some pretty damn huge icicles around here now.
My friend had one on the back of his house that was about 80cm long

Hmmm, I think we've seen the last of it up here now.
But there's 8 inches on the ground still, so it'll take some time to thaw.
There are some f*cking HUGE icicles on our house though.

So much for snow today... It's only just started snowing and only lightly
Though the radio said heavy snow was forecast for tonight. I'll believe it when I see it.

30 cm of snow and still getting dustings! Hovering between just above freezing and at freezing point.
I said it in centimetres because I know some of you get the giggles if people give measurements in inches. :]

I know for a fact that tomorrow won't be as smooth as usual for these reasons:
1) Our tutor for tomorrow will probably have trouble getting here, so he'll be late for the lecture. 2) More than half of the students on our course aren't local, either; 2a) They live at the official student halls, which is out in the countryside (the coaches from there are well renowned for being useless on icy roads). 2b) They live elsewhere and get the train, and we all know THAT'S gonna be plagued with problems.
So yeah, good chance I won't be seeing as many people tomorrow as usual.

Getting into college was no fun. The bus took 2 hours to driver 3 SMASHINGLY miles, and walking around in the slush/ice crap was awful. Bugger doing that a second time.
