Global Warming, pfffft. Hell, it is snowing down here in Texas right now. That's probably one of the more retarded things you've said.

The council's gritting around here is limited to a single pile of grit in the middle of our nearest junction. I'm not kidding. They didn't even TRY to spread it around.

The snow is brilliant on my roof. The first layer melted and then froze into ice, but above that,t he snow is genuinely light and fluffy. How awesome is that?

I don't think it's gonna snow any more up here.
But now it's clear so it's just going to be really f*cking freezing instead.

Delay to the start of term The extreme weather conditions mean that we must delay the start of term at <high school> and <middle school> as follows: boarders may return from 11 a.m. on Sunday; day students should return for a Monday morning start at the usual time - 8.15 a.m. Any overseas boarders returning early will of course be accommodated. A review and update will be posted on the website by Saturday 11 a.m.
Sooo... I'll know on Saturday if I'm alright to stay at home more!

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
I think I'm the only one here that's going to school.
Lol, there's a little 'revolution' starting up via a Facebook group. If that makes any sense.

Dear Parents and Carers,
SNOW CLOSURE - Thursday 7th Janauary 2010
I have just been informed that our delivery of grit and salt has been delayed; Regrettably therefore, for health and safety reasons Harlington will be CLOSED on Thursday 7th January 2010.
We are intending to open on Friday 8th January 2010 if we can make the site safe and accessible. Please continue to check the school website regularly for updates.
Students can access BBC Bitesize, or use their SAM Learning Codes to continue with their learning.
Yours sincerely
Acting Headteacher
Bahahah.

Ha. "Continue with learning" my ass. How many students do they reckon will actually do that? Pft.
As for me, even if the vans get cancelled, then we still have to do our job... It's rediculous. We're doing our job for absolutely nothing if it gets cancelled.

School shut tomorrow. Jesus. I'm gonna fail my exams.
Also I never actually used SAM Learning, although they gave me log in details 6 years ago.
