Im bored, so i made a thread instead of replying one...
Even if you havent even played it
Just wanted to know your thoughts about the Touhou series
Here are mine (Warning: RANTS = A LOT OF TEXT):
Minding my own business in the internets, watching MADs, and managing to understand the "engrish-like" language in the spanish version of Nico Nico Douga, i come across this game series that just managed to get popular (while arriving to the Windows users)
By the name, TOUHOU.
Basically, girls, a lot of them, shooting each other with magic spells, and a quite strange history all mashed up in a series of Shootem-up games. ('cept the fightning and other fanmade games)
I had to play that thing, i knew it was going to be a "Danmaku" game
Danmaku = Bullet Hell = Hard shooter = Hard game = FUN and FRUSTRATION at the same time... Just the way i like it.
So, i did download some games and i have to say that they are really amazing. AND REALLY HARD, but still, theyre fun to play
But the story is meh, i have to say that basically the series have almost NO story, the fans made it bigger. Like VOCALOID, the characters didnt have kinda of a personality, and the fans gave them some.
So i suggest you to try it out if you're really bored, and if you like hard games, or shooters. Also there's this thing on the difficulty select section of one of the games that makes me giggle

OH GOD Ok, sorry, my mistake... I have to say im not familiarized with forums. But thanks for the advice. So, i repost it there? Or i leave it like this? Also... I hate you in so many different ways. As a bullet hell fan, I ninjaing love Touhou.
Where do you download the full version of Subterranean Animism, anyway? It's my favourite and I can only ever find the beta.

I have to say that i actually skipped the cutscenes ;D But still, the fans gave the characters a little bit of more personality Sakuya, for example. The fans say her breasts are pads. At least thats what i think, i dont think ZUN said that. Gotta do some research, and read all the cutscenes again |

Rather, the fandom has created stereotypes for the characters, most of which are retarded. |

The characters have personality, story, etc. I can see that since i now played the games while reading the cutscenes this time. Also the Touhou Wiki helped. But yes, i agree with you. The stereotypes for the characters the fandom has made are quite silly. |
