...are you serious? It's one of the best games on the Wii.

Guys, I have $135 bucks (Holy sh*t!) Should I buy... -NSMBWii -Tatsunoko vs. Capcom -The RockBand 2 Deluxe Kit for Wii -Save for a PS3, THEN buy the RockBand 2 Deluxe kit for PS3 -Save for a Laptop Computer -Something Else/A combination of the above... I need help, dammit! Get what you want/the best one. Surely it can't be hard to make up your mind on priorities and a chain of choices?

Get a laptop. NSMBWii looks poor. Further proof that your opinion on nearly everything is malformed.

I'll extend that to the majority of Wii games looking poor, to the extent that no game for my Wii has attracted my attention enough to purchase it for a year.
I don't count Sonic and the Black Knight as a purchase because I took it right back to the shop the next day.

Why did you buy a Wii if you didn't want any of the games on it? You mean like half the world did?

Because I have parents. And birthdays. I'm not saying there's no games I like for it - I mean, some WiiWare games are okay - and I'm definitely not ungrateful for it, it's just that no recent releases excite me remotely.
To hammer it home, Nintendo are pushing the Wii as a casual console for the sort of people who don't even play video games in this country. The advertising campaigns show it as "Wii Sports, but you can get a fitness thing for it too". I haven't heard a mention of any actual games on their adverts for a long time. I find it kind of poor, as I know the aim of the Wii is to "Get new people playing videogames" as Nintendo puts it, but it would be nice if they didn't seem to be almost trying to alienate their existing, younger fanbase.

I don't ever recall the Wii being a gamer console to be honest. It's all been pretty fun and casual.

But what about Brawl, Twilight Princess, Mario Kart, MadWorld Red Steel, et al? Hardly casual games.
In other news I've decided that I will save up for a Laptop. Thank you for your suggestions.

I've already made my opinion of Mario Kart Wii clear elsewhere, so I shall say no more. MadWorld looked hopeful for a while, but I do profess to having simply lost interest.
