Whatever happened to the old topic? Ah well, we'll need another one considering SV is coming back and the forums will be getting more activity (hopefully) soon. Post your suggestions for the forum/site here and (maybe) Matt will look these over and use these ideas. Forum: - Gaming Section. We've been asking this for quite a while now. Why haven't we got one yet Matt? Site: - Self-Submitting Hoaxes. We create accounts on the website which link to our hoaxers page, and we use a form to submit our hoaxes for approval where Matt can simply accept or deny with a reason and the hoaxes appear in our page. I mean, you do this with WCMO and Reviews, why not hoaxes? - Site Music. I remember when the MIDI's played in the background. I liked it  So post your ideas and etc here. |

If the site uses BGM, then it should be off by default and turned on by visitors if they want it. If it's on auto play, it can be jarring and annoying, especially if you already have your own music playing in the background. I personally don't like BGM, it makes websites feel unprofessional.

Ideas! Gaming forum: I will add one if I get a convincing answer to this question. What will then stop the GD forum from being a semi-abandoned wasteland? Let's face it, GD now pretty much is the Gaming Forum, with occasional interludes where we talk about music or particularly horrifying news articles. Self-submitting hoaxes: Already planned, Eco, using close to the exact same system as the reviews currently. I may have to implement a valid email address tied to these accounts too, would be the change I'd have to make. BGM: Everyone but Eco speaks the truth. You have a BGM player. It's called a computer. Horrors of the Sonic Fandom: ...wwwell, the Googler's Corner came close to that on some occasions (seriously, remember some of the hentai searches? *shudder*). But if it's all the same to you I'd rather not. Just outright pointing and laughing at specific others and encouraging readers to do so is very not my style, at least the Googlers remain anonymous EDIT: By the way, thankyou for resurrecting the ideas topic. You'll notice I got rid of the curves, for one thing <3 I must say, the site is looking a lot better now as a whole, especially now that it's been expanded to use more of the screen real estate, looks less cramped. |
