First, I'd like to apologize if the page takes age to load.OK, we all know that there has been a lot of posts regarding image posting, and how to do such a thing. Here's a simple guide to post an image on a message board: Let's say, for no reason at all, I wanted to put this picture up: 1. First, I right click on the image and select Properties... 2. I then highlight the URL/Address and press CTRL+C on my keyboard(circled): 3. And when I type my post, I type before the Address and after it. If I want to post my own images, I go to www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com (much better) and I click Browse... to find the image, eg.: I then click on "Host It!" to upload it. This is where it sometimes goes wrong for some people. When the page loads up, you highlight the Direct link to image: And then repeat step 3. And hey presto! Your image should load up in the post perfectly! If not, try again. Important tip: Under any circumstance DO NOT try and post images from My Computer ie. C:\My Doncuments\My Pictures\123.jpg[/ img] It WON'T WORK. I would appreciate it if this thread was stickied.

I would too, but first pick some smaller pictures. At this rate it will be about a year before all those pictures load.

It may have been posted before, but this is really clear. I mean, if you can't get this, then you probably have 56k and it won't load for you. XP
But seriously, you might want to trim the size of the images a bit and sacrifice some quality because there are a lot.

This wins. The original topic is being destroyed and replaced with this one. You get a medal neot.
I'll edit your image hosts though. Image shack sucks in my opinion.
I suggest taking the cat picutre downa notch. That'll help the people with dial up. Although if you're using dial up at all, get off the internet, you're lagging it up for the rest of us.

There's nothing wrong with Imageshack.

There's nothing wrong with Imageshack. Except that periodicly image viewing off of image shack is disabled for something retarded. Thus why I use photobucket religiously.

One other disadvantage is that is messes up the filename. Eg: All those pictures above are from Imageshack, but instead of having "001.png", you have "001r65.png", or something similar.

Upgraded to Announcement status so there's no excuse for people who don't go to General Discussion missing it.

Given that you've managed to put a jpg online, it should be the exact same process. If your question is how to make an animated GIF, that's another question which you may put in the Questions? topic.
