I'm quite proud of this thing, seeing how it's four years old.

My uh... you have to be kidding me, right?
System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3 Ei-system Intel(R) Celeron (R) M processor 2.60GHz 1.60 GHz, 480 MB of RAM Graphics card is SiS Mirage Graphics
Those numbers mean nothing to me, so I hope they mean something to you. I do know that my screen resolution is 1024x768 at maximum, refresh rate 60Hz. It won't tell me anything about my sound card or motherboard.
It's a laptop. The touchpad works about 1/5 times when I load the thing up; the keyboard works 19/20 times. Two out of four of the USB ports work - that's just enough for the external wireless adaptor and a replacement mouse, but not enough for a memory stick at the same time. The body work is cracked in six places, three of them significant, and the DVD drive doesn't work - it mostly won't open, let alone read anything. It has a total of five screws missing and a further five that have been replaced, one of which is rattling around inside the body-work, out of a total of twenty (external) screws.
I love it to pieces. Probably, eventually, literally.

After reading that description, I can only theorise that your laptop is held together in one piece by the force of pure evil.

After reading that description, I can only theorise that your laptop is held together in one piece by the force of pure evil. Sheer faith. My laptop is kin to Discworld-style gods; if I stop believing in it, it will fall apart. This leads to such ridiculous rituals as spinning around three times chanting "I believe in laptops" before I go to bed. And, by complete coincidence, I just had my bi-yearly BSOD.
