Yeah, the over 9000 tabs thing is a common thing that I come across when using Firefox. Sometimes after a long time of usage it'll just decide to lock up or stop loading web pages or something equally stupid. Conversely Chrome just seems to keep going no matter how much abuse I put it through. ^ This. |

Sometimes it's not helped - doing research for 20+ page college assignments tends to get me to the point where I have more tabs open than I'd like but still need them open because it's quicker than jotting down all the URLs and then opening each page individually and so on, then I typically browse a few forums whilst I'm doing that, but I'd still like the tabs open, if I'm at home sometimes I'll have the odd youtube page playing some music I've yet to download - by this point I've typically got some 20+ tabs open.

One thing that no-one should ever do: Make homepage tabs. I did it back when I used IE8, I had 5. Because my old laptop got absoloutely butt-raped whenever it did anything memory-heavy, it crashed whenever I loaded IE. That was one of the main reasons I got Firefox.  And about the personas, is anyone else using the Soviet Russia skin? |

Because the cookie handler is all screwy, when I close Firefox, I have all but Google Mail and a blank tab open and saved into the Session so I stay logged in. (*off to make notanumber persona*) |
