"Why do you insist on remaining anonymous?"
"I thought we had already estabilished my name is not important... Your voice sounds tense, Mr. President."
Matt, president of SV City, sighed. He was in a phone call with an unidentified male who claimed to be a vampire and had been threatening him for the past few days. Of course his voice sounded tense. "Tell me one more time." He tried to regain his composure. "What exactly is it that you want?"
"I want you, the helpless mice of SV City, to peacefully submit to us, your natural predators," said the anonymous voice, as calm as if he were talking about the weather. "Otherwise, we will be forced to act without your consent."
Matt stared at his desk for a few moments, unsure of how to reply. "We... We will never surrender. I will protect SV at all costs. It is my duty..."
"I'm afraid that answer is unnacceptable. Not that it matters. It's... too late either way." The cold voice on the other side of the line hung up.
The president remained in his seat, confused and desperate. Whether it was a vampire or a simple madman, it didn't matter. His city was in danger and he had to do something. However, he did not expect to hear the same voice again so soon...
"Right behind you, Mr. President."
Matt's painful death was just the beginning. Soon, more citizens were killed, and the only possible cause behind their deaths was one that many refused to believe, mostly due to denial or fear. However, some people were willing to do something to change SV City's grim future... Including a crippled doctor and a charismatic millionaire.
Alright, people, you're already used to this. I'll be using mostly the same roles as I did before, with a few changes for balance purposes. Sign up please. =D
Oh, and before this thread explodes with speculation, the "charismatic millionaire" is that original character of mine I mentioned when I asked if this was a good idea before.
