I actually ended up going with Turtwig. Now I'm in Eterna City and my three main guys are Atlas the Grotle, Donnie the Psyduck and Kazza the Kadabra WHO WON'T LISTEN TO A NINJAING WORD I SAY. Anyway, this team means it's going to be pretty difficult for me to beat Gardenia. Goddammit. I can only get that Togepi egg after I deal with Team Galactic, so... I'm officially putting Donnie up for trade. What do you offer me? =3
Oh, yeah, update coming soon.
EDIT: Also, the revamped GTS made me have a small geekgasm, with the battle videos and all. Ah, and about those trade offers, I'd prefer Pokémon that aren't Grass, Water, Flying or Electric types. ^^;

I also started with Turtwig, but I got a DUGONGta and a Starly, so I just mainly used the two of them to beat the Grass gym. On some of the Pokemon that were half-poison, I'd use my Kadabra.
You can get DUGONGta in the patch of grass above the town with the first badge, but that's sort of a ways back on foot =/

I don't know, but I certainly hope so. ._. I'm pretty sure they are. I remember one of my friends trading me a Pichu egg in Gold version. Also, Eco's talking about Pokemon he can make in Pokesav, and then import to the game with a cheat. |
