The only bad thing is that the HUD is darkened too. Or it might just be me. 10/10 I'm pretty sure the HUDs have always changed underwater. In the old games, at least. 10/10 to all, excellent job.

Proof that huds don't change underwater.

Hmmm...Now that I'm looking at it some more...Maybe it might be better without the color change. I'll give it some more thought.

I like the usage of the stairs, though the 16-bit background on a 32-bit hoax still bugs me; have you tried reshading it or anything just to make it look more genuine?

I'm trying my best to work on that. If you can give me any pointers on where and how to go about it, that would help me a lot.

I think Maya from STCOSSCACC made a tutorial on how to do Sonic Advance style shading... let me find it.. -edit- Found, though personally I'd make the middle shading a bit thicker by 1 or two pixels.

Thanks. I'll see what I can do.
EDIT: I've posted the new foreground stuff in the sprites section. I like how it turned out, but I'm always open to opinions on how to make it better.

NEW HOAX: Used the newly re-touched Marble Zone sprites to make this one.

I demand more Miles. 9.5/10 (I hate giving perfect 10s)

Didn't the spike ball appear until Marble Garden Zone?

Didn't the spike ball appear until Marble Garden Zone? Yep. But I decided to add it in to the new Marble Zone, much like I put in the checkered floor from Wacky Workbench in Spring Yard. I was acutally hoping someone would notice that.
