Shenanigans aside, it's looking better. 2 still kills me inside due to the colouuuuurs. It hurts when you know the NES colour format oh too well.  Anyway have a NES palette. |

Interesting, although that Earth Mobius looks awfully flat. I definitely agree. Try what SNES developers did to give the illusion of distance in M7: instead of having one flat shade of blue, do several bars starting with absolute darkest at the bottom up to something lighter than what you currently have at the top. That way you can be technologically accurate to a degree as well.  It worked wonderfully in Star Fox and I think you can use it to your advantage. Everything else is really nice though. I particularly like how the rings and the asteroids are scaled, and sonic's sprite is perfect. |
