I thought RPG maker used only 17 sprites, 16 of which are for moving around the map?
Bleh. Say, is there room for an antagonist?

Um, I should proberbly tell you a few things:
1. RPG Maker 2003 in english is ILLEGAL! There is no legal way to get RM2K3 in english. 2. Anything below RMXP (RPG Maker XP) is considered for the most part obsolete. The sprites people are submitting here WILL NOT, and I repeat, WILL NOT fit on a standard RM2K3 CharacterSet. Purchase RMXP for $60, and take advantage of the fact that characters in RMXP can be any size.
RMXP also comes with: -Scripting features, so you can script or download new battle systems, menu systems, even new walkabout systems (like isometric, pixel by pixel, more frames of aniamtion, 8 way walking). Heck, there's even Mode07 for it now. -PNG and MP3 support. -Larger screen resolution. -Chipsets (now called Tilesets) can be any length, so you're less limited in map creation.
So, yeah, if you want to make a decent game, make it with RMXP, as anything below will look the exact same as every other game (same menu, same battle system, blah blah blah). That and you won't be able to use the sprites people are giving you.
EDIT: @tronic: You are wrong. In RMXP, a standard character has 4X4 (16) sprites (4 directions, 1 stand sprite, 3 walking sprites). In RM2K3, 1 character only has 4x3 (12) sprites (4 directions, 3 walking sprites, middle sprite works as stand sprite).

Maybe you completely missed the part when I said the sprites people are sending you will not fit on a characterset!

Innapropiate!? Maybe you completely missed the part when I said the sprites people are sending you will not fit on a characterset! I'm editing sprites from Charas-project based on the character's sprites, and the sprites people are sending me will go on the battle characterset.
