ZOMG FANGAME!
A few people (mostly the ones that led me here in the first place) might remember this fangame I was doing and known that it infact got killed. I decided to attempt bringing it back, and doing it as a mostly one-man project. I started completely from scratch so that it doesn't suck like the previous demos did (basically resembled Advance 2 >_<)
So... behold SONIC CHAOS PLANET! A hopefully to-be-completed fangame with a classic experience!
I've cut a bunch of zones out, so now the list is only 8 long.
ZONES (with SCD alliteration abounds!)
1. Radical Rainforest
2. Techno Terror (name pending. Former name, Robotnik's Refinery)
3. Crazy Cityscape
4. Aquatic Addiction (name pending)
5. Volcanic Vent
6. Dusty Desert (name pending)
7. Hellish Headquarters
8. Space Shrine
GAME ENGINE
Physics are being worked on, but are pretty accurate right now. Runs at a smooth 60 fps. It's supposed to play like Sonic 3, so insta-shield and the elemental shields are implemented.

A level gimmick for Robotnik's Refinery: the conveyor belt.
New as of Sept. 3:
Loopity dizziness.
I have layered levels now so you can pass through other bits of it. See, here we're on the bottom level...
...and now we're on the top. Basically, this is where two paths merge into one. (They split again later on, so I'm NOT being lazy. =P)
"Hmm, which way do I go now?"
Boing!
Wheeee! More of that layering.
DOWNLOADING:
None, because it's nowhere near publicly usable.
However... there is the old, horrid little Demo 2. Explode in fear of its 20MB badness. The current version has a similar engine, but NOTHING in this demo survived the revamp. NOTHING. Don't judge the new SCP on it.
So, now the hype machine is started. Comments are appreciated.
