UHPDAET! It's more a sketch than anything finished, but I had fun doing it. Don't ask why I did a separate head and body... I really can't figure out why either. EDIT: For some reason the scanner makes the images a little high-contrast. I will fix this in future postings.

Agreed. However, the face seems a bit wierd to me. The eye needs to be a smidge higher and closer to the edge of the face. That body, however, is just plain awesome.
Your score: 9.2/10

Did you get better all of a sudden or is it just me? Or was that not your best work on the first page?
Truly awesome.

No, that was his scanner messing up the picture. Never use biro to outline.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Anyway, I thought I'd be training myself a little more in the drawing sector. There's this British guy named Gez Fry who quit his job as a Diplomat and for two years studied anime pictures to teach himself how to draw. He went from knowing nothing about drawing to being a heck of a lot better than I am. =P Now he's a Freelance artist who lives in Tokyo. Here's his site: www.gezfry.com/So I got some books full of anime art (Actually kind of hard to find just art books, but ah well) and I tried to copy one of the pages just using pencil. I look at it now and notice a few mistakes, but ah well. Apparently this is a good way to learn, so might as well. =P Here's the result: Feel free to critique, but I gave it a good look over and know which parts seem a little more rushed than others. The original picture was a CG, here's a link: gallery.minitokyo.net/view/104075/EDIT: By the way, if you guys can find concept art of various fighting game-- Or any characters-- in action poses, drop me a link via PM. I've been surfing around for official art that isn't just a dull standing pose. So far I've found a few Soul Calibur II pics, but that's it. Heck, if you have a game manual lying around with some cool stuff on it, scan it in, I need practice. =P

Wow, lotta response. =P Anyway, I haven't been motivated, so drawing has been a slow task. But I have been able to get a sketch in. It's pretty accurate to one of the Yunsung art pieces in Soul Calibur II. I don't really like copying, but hey, if it teaches me to draw... =P

You make him look much cooler than he does in the games.
