You BOTH suck. I could swear there's not enough blocks on the track for that kind of score.
...I now fear for my Sonic R records. (Currently hold the top for all six. Got the highest score for Super Sonic Racing. 165,444)

Curse you and your twitchy hand. The only way I'm gonna even approach that score is learning the 1,2,3 button method. When hell freezes over.
On other news, I finally got myself a mp3 of Through the Fire and Flames. After a few restarts (sneaky gray blocks = annoying), my best score so far is 226,134. Nowhere near the top global score, but I rank 5th in my state.
Did you know that if you tweak the options right, you can get a white road on a black background? Looks friggen' AWESOME. (Makes me wish I could run it on the Premium setting.)

Yeah, that's the background option. It's not exactly hard to find. And you don't want to run it on premium even if you do have a great computer, since the lower the chance for lag the less frustration you get.
I couldn't beat your score on Through the Fire and Flames, but it's early morning and I only had time for one playthrough.

Which type of songs do you usually play on it? I usually try and aim for all the mostly yellow/orange/red stages.

I like songs with a nice variation. Pretty much the only ones I can't get stealth on are those REALLY fast SRA songs, and most Muse songs. House of the Rising Sun and In Your World were actually the first real "OHSH*T" moments I've had with that game. <.<
