A Good Free First Person Shooter? Nonsense!

You heard me. A free First Person shooter that has all the Quake-like deathmatch goodness you want. Plenty of maps and characters, and all that good stuff.

Be warned, there is blood and gore. However, being that it's open source, one can remove it from the code. Currently I'm trying to get my brother to help me develop it, and we've made some progress, but we've still got a bit to go . However, it is a nice download. Very much worth it.

But it's a RAM hog like no other. So if you need to (which you probably will), turn down the effects and resolution and make it 16 bit. Happy fragging!

Looks pretty good but I won't download it. I've already got Quake III Arena, UT2K4, Far Cry, HL1 and HL2 and all of the mods for it, Serious Sam The First Encounter, Serious Sam The Second Encounter etc etc.

I might get it if there was a Vegemite game arranged during the holidays but it's doubtful.

For a free game though it looks pretty damn sweet.

Hey, that could work. There's already a modding community being born. While there's no official SDK as of yet (and probably won't be for another month at least), there are alternatives in the ways of modelling, mapping, and scripting.

But for now, just try the original game itself out. I'm making a dedicated server (SV Frag Party), and any comments would be most appreciated.

You know what I said an I'll say it again, it's not as good a Q3A, it looks cool, for a full FPS but I'll trust you on keeping it hidden somewhere on my hard drive a little longer.....
