PETA is the butt of many jokes on Sluggy, and deservedly so.</random comment>
Anyway, a few people not eating meat won't cut slaughterhouse quota.
Like my friend who's vegetarian, saying that her not eating meat saved many cows.
Those cows still died, shock surprise, they just didn't find their way into the vegan's mouth. As long as people don't randomly massacre for sport, I have no problem. Mmm, I am sure in the mood for some WHALE!</offensivecomment>

Meh I never hurt animals, but once its dead and its on yer plate, not eating it ain't gonna bring it back. It'll still be dead. And getting cold.

Precisely. Cold steak. Now THAT is a crime. Think of the starving people. Look at it this way. We're the animals capable of conscious thought. When OUR OWN KIND suffer, you don't care. But you care about the animals that some Japanese dudes are beating up? While you PETA freaks may call people who eat meat animal killers, I'm going to turn around and call you people killers. 1. It's China, not Japan.
2. Killing for food is natural but the chinese people are skinning animals alive so its torture, and a waste of meat.
3. People killing and torture is easier to watch because they can fight back, unlike an animal can't.

I wasn't referring to people torture. I was referring to the starving people, you idiot. And even if they are Chinese, it's none of your damned business what they do. We aren't going off to China to start war against them for beating animals to death.

Besides, what about the animals that eat animals? There are PLENTY of those. Look at the Echidna and the Fox! Ant eater and small furry mammal eater.
And it's not like some animals are so sensitive that they'll avoid attacking people when provoked.

Don't forget hedgehogs like insects and worms too Anyway I don't think animals should be treated cruely in their deaths... but seriously I eat alot of meat and I support most hunters and stuff too. Okay, I did sign one petition but that was to stop Mourning Dove hunting in the area... seriously, Mourning Doves are not very big... not very afraid of people... and well why do people want to shoot doves? On the other hand I have a degree in Zoology and love animals to death... So yes, slightly hypocritical there |
