Saddest sonic moment

Mine is in sonic the movie where metal sonic is about to melt in a pool of lava this is how it goes.
Sonic:'Metal grab a hold of my hand!'
(metal sonic hits sonics hand away)
Sonic:'What are you doing!'
(then metal remembers something sonic said in one of there battles...There is only one sonic the hedgehog
Metal:'There is only one sonic the hedgehog'
(falls into lava)

Also as my name says i do not like spam so i dont want anyone saying 'IT WAHS SAHD WHEN SHADOW DIYED I CRYED ALL DA TYME!!!!!'

Now i respect peoples views just no fanboys/girls ranting,okay? .

I think the saddest momnet was at one point when I saw a part in sonic x. When chris was on the ground and sonic came as super sonic and everything else was white. I was lucky I didn't cry!

Nice thought but it seemed kinda gay to n/o lol 'SONIC TAKE ME WITH YOU PLEASE PLEASE!!' lol but it was sad.

The only remotely sad bit in a Sonic game is the ending of Sonic Battle but that still is only remotely sad.

If you want sad, watch Emma die on MGS2.

BTW: I hate Sonic X.

I only saw the first few episodes of Sonic X, thus I never got to see any real character development or groundbreaking moments, if any. =(

Anyway, I found the ending to Sonic Battle rather depressing. I got to really like Emerl, despite the fact I knew he was going to die. (c'mon, name me a Sonic game where all robots don't die in it!) However, alot of it's charm was lost by how it used simple talking graphics instead of proper images or whatever.

Second most depressing moment is E102's ending in Sonic Adventure. Infact, E102's whole story is depressing, with how he has to fight his family to "rescue" them. The music is the main highlight of Gamma's endind.

I don't know why, but I think Sonic 2's ending is rather depressing. I mean, Sonic and Tails battle and journey all the way to the Death Egg, Tails has to leave after reaching the Wing Fortress, but in the end it looks like Sonic dies. You know, with the Death Egg blowing up. Tails would be mighty disappointed by that, going through all that work, and he loses his best friend. Then it turns out that Sonic is alive and all that. But still, the first part is saddening.

And finally, the obligatory mention of Sonic Adventure 2's ending. I loved this ending when I first saw it, feeling sorry for Shadow. However, alot of the dialogue screwed it up ("My father was a genius...I looked up to him. He was my idol! But...did he really mean to destroy us...?" "I DUNNO BUT WE DDI IT TOGEHTAR OLOLOL" "...I hate you, Tails." "j/k"), and Shadow's revival also completely ruined it. They shed all those tears over some guy who has a million copies of himself.

End of Sonic Battle. Found that sad, Sonic felt like he lost a best friend -- but he was more than that. Emerl looked up to Sonic as a father, and Amy as a Mom (MENTAL THOUGHTS!), and seeing your 'child' die... *sigh*

Shadow's revival also completely ruined it. They shed all those tears over some guy who has a million copies of himself.

i'd have to say gamma's ending in SA1 except hes a little pink flicky. and in sonic battle i couldnt help but notice sonic liked emerl more than tails
