Yes. I heard at sws2b this was possible on the cpu port, so I decided to see if it would work on the ROM, and it did. How I did it: I got a program called "Cheat o' Matic" from www.gscentral.com. Then I opened up my emulator and the ROM and did the level select. I hit "C" and searched for "1". The step repeated until I found the code. Then I set the value to "4" and made a savestate. Download: fire.prohosting.com/jwx04/blueknuckless3k.zipDon't hit "C", or you will have to load it again. Also, the savestate is *.gs#, and as far as I know, it only works with Gens and Genesyst. Both can be downloaded from Zophar's Domain: www.zophar.net

So? You can easily just do that with a game genie code.

So? You can easily just do that with a game genie code. No. Cheat O' Matic has its own code encryption format, and even if the format was decoded, it wouldn't work when converted to GG, because it was modifying the emulator, not the ROM.

Feh. and Bah. And Meh. Game genie codes do it all, but cool idea. That is correct, but I don't know the GG code. I aslo don't know if there is a genesis/megadrive emulator that has a code search. If someone finds either one, notify me.

Wgens has a built in game genie code section, but you got to find the codes yourself. www.gamewinners.com does the trick nicely.

Uhm... I did it without any code.
It used to be on the long-gone "weird stuff" section on this very site.
