Yep... I decided to make a new username that more accurately matched my hoaxer name.
Well, the good news is that the laptop should be up and running. (Except for Internet... But we'll work on that) So I guess I'll just install photoshop 5 again as well as my old little Sonic PC games.
Due to the lack of legal ROM's, I'm not able to get many Sonic screenshots besides Sonic 3K and Sonic 3d Blast (I'm working on trying to find a screen capture utility for Windows 98 for Sonic R and Sonic CD).
Until then, I will pitifully try to use a digital camera to take photos of my other Sonic games. Very pitiful. Especially without a tripod.
What does that leave my Mac to do? Well, I got a trial of Adobe Photoshop CS, and I feel in heaven. So I guess I'll play with that. ;D

Why would he? Who cares? The only person losing anything is Wdot, and thats just records of old posts...
And as for Photoshop CS, make use of the layers. very handy ;D

Costco Wholesale sells Photoshop for only 50-somethin' buxx.
PS: Gimp is a freeware version of Photoshop, with a much more confusing interface and less options...it also has a little dog for a mascot.

i have found the gimp and i could only find the source code. Well, yeah. It's opensource-ware. But you can get already-compiled versions. Like here.(Be sure to get the GTK+ thing. You'll need it) I haven't had any problems with it thus far. It's made hoaxing much more enjoyable for me. ;D |
