Firstly, Eco. THIS IS NOT A CAPTION CONTEST, YOU ABSOLUTE IMBECILE. Secondly, the idea of memes is that they're copied. They are known as memes because they spread from obscurity to ubiquity. So even if this was, in fact, a caption contest, which it is not, your argument would be utterly invalid. Stop crying. That is all. Funny, I never mentioned this being a Caption Contest at all. All I asked is why are websites doing image caption games now. DA just came on to attack because of my idiocy on that other topic. "HUR DUR ECO JUS BECZAUS FORUMWARZ PIPULARSED IT DOESNT MEAN THYE MAD IT". Of course, this being said, it seems that DA considers it a Caption Contest. Also Cheesy, /b/ holding Caption Contests? Hah. And I haven't seen LOLcats hold a contest, not counting those crapty youtube ones non-heterosexuals make. Never once did I mention ForumWarz being a part of this topic. Why are you listening to DA? On a side note, Therio is right. This crap is boring. Alright, Eco, since you've decided to be a big boy and fight the bad guys, what do you consider this to be? You're probably just going to say all of my assumptions are wrong regardless unless I actually ask you this, anyway. |

This is not a caption contest, as you are simply giving one word tags to those images. Have you even tried it? As for a caption contest, I think of ForumWarz or those KIPPERLY youtube contests. Get an image, participants caption that image as best as they can, and audience/players vote for the best image caption. That is what I consider a caption contest. |
