Ok, here's the link. www.rmxp.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=14371I'm too tired to type all the info out, so i'll leave you to read it. Basically, it's a game that'll teach you how to make a Dating Sim within RPG Maker XP. It's now also looking for voice actors, so if any of you are interested, click the link in the first post leading to the Voice Actors Alliance forum post for more details. Feel free to comment about the game here... As you can see, i've been doing this project for a while, but only recently have I started it back up again.

....What.... ...What makes you think we want to make dating sims? Nearly all of the games that have been made here at SV (That I've seen) are based on SV members. And...Well....We are NOT going there.

I can see it now: Tronic: Matt, I...I think I love you. I've just had these...feelings...lately. I can't hold them back any longer. I WANT YOU INSIDE ME, FANTASY MAN!
No. Farking. Way.

Hate to say it Bishy, but this forum is probably a Bad Place to put such a thing because... 1. We can't draw worth a durn, which is a bit important in making dating sims. 2. We're not interested in loving anime fantasy girls. Not that there's anything wrong with people who play them (Well, I guess it depends... XP), but the idea that I just sit through a bunch of text and then pick A, B, C, or D in the hopes that my answer will help me score still-frame love doesn't appeal to me too much.

Well, i'm so sorry for wanting to show a game I'VE been creating. Ya know, I did sit a read through information about the games YOU people were making, so I can't see why you can't do the same for me.
And also, just because you're an SV member, doesn't mean every game you make has to be SV related...try going for something ORIGINAL.
And i'm not saying you HAVE to make your own Dating Sim. At least play the game when it's out. Also, if you read carefully, i've tried to cater for both sexes, so loving anime girls isn't the only thing that's happening...yes...there are anime guys aswell (which shows how much of it you was bothered to read)...
EDIT: For the art issue, not every game is independantly made. Heck, even i've hired a cript writer to write a custom menu system for my game. Just hire someone to draw the characters for you...think people...
EDIT EDIT: ABCD issue: That's why there's a story...a multi path story. You see, this isn't the kind of dating sim you see on Newgrounds, this actually has a story and a timeline, a story that shapes and changes depending on you're actions. Also, I plan for there to be a bonus FMV in the game, so there's soemthing to search for. "Still framed love"...there is no hentai in this. And when any love is shown (like the successful date kiss), it will be animated...

Sarcastic apology accepted. Hmm, a cliché reply, a symbol of low intelligence. Very smart of you. Anyways, if you people dislike my game so much and see no reason for it to exist, just close this topic. Don't bitch about how you're not going to use it (even though you don't have to) just because you don't like dating sims in genral... I bet none of you even played the V1.1 demo (the one made before I started from scratch again)...

Okay. I downloaded the demo. But it said I needed some dll or other. So I download it. Then it has a problem with standards or something. So I edit the config file. Then it says it's missing a file. I make a dummy file. Well, I look in the files I have and... I have two title screens a couple of pretty backgrounds, and a bunch of pictures of some just-turned adolescent anime girl in a skimpy bathing suit in various poses. Not quite a demo. While I'm sure it was meant for RPG maker developer purposes, some of us don't own it, so it won't really help us. As for the pictures/screenshots I do have: Why do so many of your women have to be so lacking clothes? I guess I would understand that some characters are supposed to be sluts except that they're ALL INNOCENT LOOKING 14 YEAR OLDS! Put some clothes on and add some variety in ages and personalities. And for heaven's sake make a stable demo before you ask us non-developers to look at it.

Well, the 3D model used is Himeko, a newish model. This means that the only clothes she has are the ones she comes with, which are all skimpy so far...
Sure, if someone modeled a pair of jeans for her, I would use them, but no dice...
As you can see, Usako is less revealed in the newest one, sporting a more recently made SchoolGirl outfit...Mina is the only slut in the next one, and that's because of her attention seeking personality.
There is an extra girl, who uses a different model (in a similar style) which has a body with mroe support, so there's more clothes for her. Go to page 13 there to see her (Azura).
EDIT: Also, it wasn't encoded, so it was meant for those with the RMXP RTP (which only comes with the program). It was made a long time ago and only meant for those at RMXP.net ...also, I do know that RPG Maker XP is used by a few members here, so I thought i'd post...the conversation demo for the new one will be encoded (as it's meant to be a taster of the system), and the final version will have both Encoded and None-encoded versions...

Sure, if someone modeled a pair of jeans for her, I would use them, but no dice... Model them yourself. Seriously, modelling will give you a lot more control than just sewing together various premade parts in Poser. I suggest Blender, as it's free. People complain about the non-intuitive interface, but the only real deal is that you have to learn a bunch of shortcut keys. The manual is free online, take an hour or two and read through it. I'm not just randomly plugging-- if you want control, you've gotta model.
